SouthFace Village at Okemo Development Company, LLC is led by Ted Rossi, the developer of some of Okemo Mountain’s most remarkable residential properties. He is also one of the most influential leaders in the global hardwoods industry. Ted has been coming to Okemo for over 30 years, first as a parent and later as a developer. It’s that combination of experiences that has influenced virtually all of the decisions guiding the development of SouthFace Village®. Many consider this trailside development to be one of the most intelligently planned residential communities on Okemo Mountain.

Built on 200 private gated acres on the sunny south face of Okemo, Ted’s vision was that the center of its universe will always be the families who live and play there. Okemo Mountain Resort, now owned by Vail Resorts, is one of the most acclaimed family ski mountains in the country and is continually recognized for industry-leading snowmaking and grooming, and mountain operations. Okemo is responsible for the maintenance and daily operation of the SouthFace Village Sunshine Quad lift lift that connects SouthFace Village to the entire Okemo lift and trail system. They are also responsible for all snowmaking, grooming, and ski trail safety activities, ensuring the best possible skiing, riding and hassle-free living experiences for our owners and their guests.
